Ocean Explorer is a modern polar expedition vessel in Quark Expeditions' fleet, joining in 2024 and purpose-built for Antarctic and Arctic voyages. Featuring the ULSTEIN X-BOW® inverted bow for a smoother ride in rough seas, she accommodates 138 guests with nearly all cabins offering a private veranda for uninterrupted polar views.

The ship carries 15 Zodiacs, 12 kayaks, and inflatable paddleboards, plus multi-height outdoor decks ideal for wildlife watching and photography.
